Pool / Villa cleaning services - are they legal?

As the title says. What are the consequences if people are working on the black - also for those employing them illegally?



Reason I am asking is that their prices don't seem to be much different from the proper companies offering the services, so am very curious.

Cant comment on prices people charge

but it is a problem here that people give out their e-mail and phone numbers on the boards to people looking for maintenance etc and the government officials are having a crackdown on illegal workers so care should be exercised

These people that work without work permits and or company if found could get a heavy fine, imprisoned for tax evasion or deported or all the above.

Do as we have done pay a company that is reputable.



Though i cannot blame some people when they moved over here some 6 years ago things were much cheaper than now.... but i guess you have to move on with the times as you would in the UK.. or anywhere else around the world.

I am very happy my pool cleaning service with GLENCOE

They are ligal and every month i am having my recips. Also they are professional about pool and ETC. They have a certificats to prove it.

What you pay for is what you get ,like it or not that is life. The best is always not the chepest way to get the service you require but think about it.
