Hi everyone I am new to the forum, but bought my apartment in october 18 months ago. completion only took place before xmas last year. i probably bought near the begining. i paid 1,000 pounds to yigor for the connection of water and electric a month ago and now waiting to hear when they will be connected, which is i believe six weeks. I will be going over to the apartment in a months time, the first time since i bought 19 months ago. i have paid my completion fee even though the road and pool are still not finished infact nothing is finished there yet only some apartments. if you do not pay them the completion fee even though nothing finished they will threaten you with cancelling their contract with you

Lou Lou

Have you paid your stamp duty & reg your contract with the land reg office? if so they would not be able to cancell your contract, either way you should contact your advocate who should be able to deal with this.

Hello lou lou,

We have also bought a Chelsey.

You really need to read your contract !!The site is done in phases .

Our apartment will be ready next month which is phase 2 we signed our contract march 2007 with 10 months completion of apartment .We have already paid for electric to the apartment, I believe there is a shortage of meters at the moment. The developers are not responsible for Kibtek!!

We have known from day 1 that the whole site would not be complete on final payment. It does state in the contract on completion of the apartment with safe and sufficient access.

What is the problem with the maintenance charge? Has anybody had problems getting replies to emails lately?

Hi Mike,

Have just sent you an email regarding the residents association, didn't know there was a problem with maintenance charges, I'm sure you will enlighten me!!! We bought our apartment 2years past Jan and it was completed in Nov 05 have only just paid the electricity connection charge in March. When we first took apartment over, there were electricity meters for all the apartments in phase 1 but a friend has just told us these have been removed, why, I don't know as nothing was said to us. We had been connected to the generator during our holidays over there and yes I have also had problems trying to get replies to emails, hopefully all will be resolved soon.

dear mike

we are trying to sell our apartment at the moment and i have had quite a few emails saying that they are only hearing bad reports about the site from this forum.

can you tell me why?

we all new we would be living on a building site when we moved there and that the completion of the site was a couple of years down the line so why after living there yourself only a couple of months are you having such bad things to say?

i need to sell my apartment and im having a hard time doing so when your making out that nothing is going to plan up there when im sorry to say it is going just as we were told when we moved there a year ago.

Dear Lynn,

I have never made a posting on this or any other forum bad about

Chelsey Village or anywhere else.

The only posting I have put on here is drawing attention to the Residents Association stating that there is a Maintenance Issue and giving my E-Mail address should they wish to join.

Should you wish to discuss the matter further please contact me off forum

Regards
