What will you do if somebody books for a week and then stays put? Unless you are registered with the Belediye as a guest house or whatever, the police will not be interested. On the other and you may be liable to pay compensation to those who booked but could not use it. So my suggestion is that you do it properly if it is not already the case.

Jake, awaiting radiotherapy and am not sure if it will be completed by the 19th September, if it is, will be would the apartment be available for two weeks from the 19th September? Unfortunately will not know for another two/three weeks when my treatment will actually start but we would definately be interested.

the apartment is already booked from 2nd October for 3 weeks, so unless you are able to book a little earlier that the 19th September, I can not help you

Hi Jake, thanks for getting back so quickly, yes would still be interested as we (my husband and I) could probably stay with friends or in a hotel from maybe the 30th Sept. and would leave the apartment cleaned and the linen and towels washed ready for your next guests. Jumping the gun a bit but am hoping that my radiotherapy will be finished and I will be declared fit by the 19th Sept as this is also my birthday and I would love to surprise my best friend who stays in Lapta on the day by just turning up to share a bottle of fizzy stuff to celebrate my birthday and being cancer free. No probs if it is not possible but can taste the kebab from Fast Food already. Should say that since surgery I am rid of the dreaded C, radiotherapy is just to make sure the Bu***r doesn't return. Be back in touch as soon as possible.

Just curious (sorry,the female thing) are you in TRNC or in the UK at the moment. (no need to answer if you think I am being too nosey).

I am looking for a rental property within TRNC. We are retiring in October and I will be coming over to look for accommodation until my house is completed (God is the only one who knows when that will happen cos the builder doesn't). Hi Angie, sorry not been in touch, but needed a little more surgery so radiotherapy has been delayed for few weeks, so looks like will not be out in September after all but have kept your phone number and will get back in touch again. Don't know now when we will get back to our second home but hopefully in the not too distant future, who knows we might even get to meet.

we have a small 2 bed apartment fully furnished in Lapta Olive Grove which is available for both short and long term rental ,rates to be agreed depending on term . Water is sorted but we still need permanent electricity which will take a couple of days to sort .The maintenance is paid for next 5 months so only service charges would be required.

unfortunately, the apartment is rented already until the 26th August, but is availble from then until 22nd September.

There is a shared pool.
