We are over next week with our family. We plan on going to the Esentepe golf club for an evening meal, are men allowed dress shorts or will they have to wear long trousers? Thankyou

Sissy..I would say to you, long trousers. When I played there two weeks ago,a visiting player was sent off the course to change his shirt to one that had a collar. They are very "up market" as you will see by their prices..

Coachie,

T-shirt with collar as far as I know is standard in any golf course. The same at CMC.

Don't know if still the same but no flip flops for the ladies.

arrry,

Cheeky as ever, too hot for black stockings they don't really go with bikini or shorts for the summer ! And as for the daft hat well I might just have one that would suit you but then again you probably have your own left over from school days. You know the one..... the white tall one ......with a letter on the front (can't remember what the letter is ) Anyway joking aside glad you survived yesterday being nice to everyone.

Mr Vince nothing to stop you wearing your kilt at the golf club, very smart, as long as you don't have knobbly knees and varicose viens You go for it !

Hi sissy,

The golf club is one of my favourite places to dine and it is an opportunity to dress up and soak up the ambience of the place. I would personally expect the men in my company to wear long trousers. I am sure I have seen someone turned away in shorts. I think it is ok at lunch time but not in the evening.
