Just checked price of flights on lastminute.com.

LHR - ECN return £196.

Same date fight but ECN - LHR return £259

£63 more just because the flight starts in Ercan.



CTA was £217 (STN)

Pegasus was £285 (STN)

All the airlines do it --- they use a Euro exchange rate to convert the price---- and yes i know TRNC not in the Euro zone but i dont think that makes any difference they still do it.

There's nothing new in that. I recently paid 1p plus taxes to get to Warsaw, but would have had to pay £195 plus taxes to get back! In the end I managed to get different flight times and airline for £90 including taxes for the return leg.
