I'm flying with CTA on Friday (13.30) to Ercan from Stansted. Usually fly from Gatwick/Heathrow. Both those airports usually bedlam & I allow minimum 3 hours for checking in, security and getting something to eat. Any tips/advice/opinion re getting to/flying from Stansted with CTA?

Parking available at Stansted - £35 pw or £60 2 weeks. (my house). Can arrange airport transfers - for sensible flight times... :0) You will need to get there about 2.5 hours before due to security checks

Martin,
We are flying from Stanstead on Thursday with Pegasus. Only flown from Stanstead once before as we are from the north so usually go to Manchester. Much smaller airport than I has anticipated and although not as busy as the other London airports, security checks were time consuming. We got there about two and three quarter hours before flight and this was plenty of time to get something to eat. Enjoy your flight and holiday.

Sue,
We flew with Pegasus a couple of weeks ago from Stansted and it was fine.
There were NO queues at security, we went straight through, unlike trying to get through there when your off skiing at 6am in the morning, then you really do need to have 3 hours.

Congrats Sue enjoy your apartment and stay, how long you going, hope weathers good for you. Were coming for 9days on 3rd trying to clear up couple of issues.

We live just off J29 M25 On a good day gatport airwick 45 mins Stansted 30 mins M25 allowing take out the parking Stansted for us every time always within 30 mins take off beats Gatwick every time.
