Arrive Istanbul 12-30 ....leave Istanbul....13-35 ..for Ercan...

Downside coming back arrive Istanbul 09-30 leave at 15-30 ... So i will have a look round Istanbul while i am waiting . Any body got any suggestions where i could go in Istanbul for a few of hours ......keep it clean !!

Wanderer ...thanks for that . I never thought about Luton. Just as easy to get to for me , but all booked now. Worth looking at next time though.

Is an hour enough time to transfer, what about luggage collection, passport control.Remember if any easyjet delay ,they are not liable for you missing flight.

Girne 29 is right you're a bit tight on time 1 st when you land you need to get your passport stamped at the desk on the right as you enter arrivals hall and cough up £10 per person in cash or as my son was charges there spring bank holiday monday £15 then passport control collect luggage and through the arrivals door turn left and down to Pegasus check-in

Its not like a transit passenger on Turkish airlines at Ataturk its a diy job good luck

If you havfe the flights try a "transfer tour" they are realy aimed at longer than you have but you might like the idea. See the link below:

Hope I am telling you something you already know, but you know Easyjet do not fly into Ataturk but the other one!

Unless things have changed you will have to go through passport control etc then check in again for the Ercan flight!

With Turkish Airlines you can book a flight to Lefkosa Ercan for 249 included all taxes return. Much cheaper and less risky I say and food and drinks included as well as baggage

Would suggest you go to Kadikoy on the E 10 bus goes every 15 - 20 minutes. Make sure you get the express bus. Its on the water either have some lunch their or catch the ferry to Eminonu (spelling?). Frequent service dirt cheap. This means you are now in the old part of Instanbul. You can either walk or take a tram up the hill to The Blue Mosque/Santa Sophia/Old Bazaar but given the time you have either just take the ferry their and back too see the sights from the water and have a cheap meal in Kadikoy, there are some wonderfull fish and vegetable markets up in the back street and tourist dont go there much.

If you go to the departures area at Sabiha Goken there is a 24hour left luggage dept.

Next time make sure you do an overnight stop in Istanabul!

You can get links to the bus service forom the Sabiha Goken website or http://www.iett.gov.tr/en

Enjoy
