BSM, the UK's biggest driving school, is to replace its basic vehicle for learners - the Vauxhall Corsa - after signing a deal with Fiat.

The Italian firm will provide BSM with 14,000 cars over four years - mainly its Fiat 500.

What a useless car to learn to drive in. It's great for round town but on a long run it's a pain in the bum.

Really these days nothing smaller than a Ford Fusion 1.6 litre should be the standard to learn to drive as this size car is the most popular.

On the other side of the coin though, this is another blow in these hard pushed times for GM and Vauxhall. No doubt more job redundancies will be announced on the loss of this order.
