Should not realy tell this on a public board as I want to make sure there are plenty of places for me!



Every October, Cyprus Turkish have a sale on. If you can book then and pay then for the next year it is nearly half price!



Friends of ours went to Cyprus this year in the school summer holidays for £750 for 4 of them! Others are just about to go for $790 for 5 of them, all booked and paid for last October.



They fly on Saturdays and Wednesdays from Manchester. Not all the flights are shown on the booking page so it is worth calling the London office aswell.



We have never been delayed. Food not up to much and no TV or radio on the plane, but very comfy and standard leg room. And for prices like those can not ask for much more.

I personally wouldn't do that, not in the current economic climate.



You have the protection to get your money back from your credit card company 180 days after purchase, booking in October would take you to April, after that, if KTHY go bust. You will have no flights, lost money, and have to find new flights!

I have just booked flights from Larnaca to Manchester, 22nd dec to 29th Dec, 215pounds per person flying with Cypurs Airlines, cheap as chips.

If you can get to Stanstead, you can often pick up cheap flights with Pegasus Airlines. I booked in March for middle of September and got flights for £139 return. You have to be quick and book as soon as they are offered at that price.

We fly from Hannover to Ercan with Turkish Airlines - they're quite expensive.



There are no flights from Bremen to Ercan - not sure whether there are any to Larnaca.



How come you're looking at flying from Germany? We are stationed over here with the Army that's why we fly from here.

Thank you for the input. I seem to remember years ago the flights did exist and were reasonable but they must have cut back ...



I have a place near Bremen, near Manchester and near St Ives so i tend to travel a bit. Was the first UWO at 7 Bde ...

You say you fly from Hannover ,why do,nt you fly with Condor to Larnaca its a lot cheaper...than T.A.

I fly with them ca 3 times pro year from Hannover-Larnaca .They fly ever Monday and if you log into there web-site they do action prices (smiley prices) I got for e.g. 2 flights back in June for 150 euros each, return.. mind you ,you have to log in everyday to there Web-Site Condor.de to catch the cheap fly,s but its worth it..

The best day for action prices is thursday afternoons but like I said you have to keep a good eye on the prices the tend to go up & down if your lucky you can snap a good deal allso the flights are allways on time ,Condor is the only Direct Airline that flys from Hannover to Larnaca in the Winter Months they fly via Stuggart or München together with Euro Cyprus Airlines.I,m picked up at Larnaca from a good driver who takes me to the Northside (Mägusta) 50 euros

return 100.Have never had any problems this route over the last 4 years.



Saves having a 2 to 3 hour stop over in Istanbul to get to Ercan allso the flight time return journey is allways 5 am...Murder...many times your traveling over 14 hours on the Hannover-Istanbul-Ercan route .



Hannover-Larnaca route House to House 7 hours..at least 100 euro cheaper..

We booked January last for September next Stansted-Ercan for £169.00 each. Thought we did well, too! As you rightly say, you have to keep an eye out and book when you think prices are good.

Your tip came in very handy. RyanAir informed me on Friday that they are cancelling all Bremen-Manchester-Bremen connections and left us all high and dry. Running around trying to find alternatives is awful here and expensive, then i remembered your "Condor" tip. Just managed to reschedule my 28 day trip and booked a nice flight from Hannover to Larnaca for just €216!

If you are out in NC when i am, 26 Oct - 23 Nov, let me buy you a drink!

"Great" glad to see it was worth looking into Condor ,I saw the smiley price yesterday there still on offer I,m checking them for a flight on the 14th Sept gambling they will go down another 40 euros or so in the next 10 days the asking price was 373 euros now down to 303 ,- should go to 266,- or if I,m lucky like back in june 150,- ???

Its like ebay....



Saw on Sky News about Ryan Air moving out of Manchester, look into Tui Fly .de Web-site they fly to Manchester from Hannover do the same deals as Condor .



Pity won.t be in NC on your dates but the drink on ice my dates are Sept - Oct. 2010 dates Feb and June-Sept.
