Unfortunately some kind fellow has stolen a wheely bin from the side of the road in Esentepe just past the two phone masts going up the hill.

The police and the Belideyesi have been informed and are looking into it. Clearly etched on the front is the owners address:

119 RIVERSIDE VILLAS with Esentepe Beldeyesi printed on it as well.

We are annoyed about this because not only is it new, this is the 3rd bin to go missing from this location.

So if the culprit is reading this please return it before the police or refuse collectors find it. Likewise if anyone spots it please inform Esentepe Police so that the culprit can be brought to justice (hung drawn & quartered I Hope)

So If you don't have a bin PLEASE:

A) Get one from the Belideysi (116Tl) or from Girne just past the traffic lights (87TL) (not expensive)

B) Dont drop your rubbish in our bins as you are passing! Get your own! We did.

Finally has anyone got any wealy good bin jokes. Like where's ja bin?

Keep your eyes peele

A dustman is going along a street picking up the wheelie bins and emptying them into his dustcart lorry. He gets to one house where the bin hasn't been left out so he has a quick look for it, goes round the back but still can't see it so he knocks on the door. There's no answer so he knocks again.

Eventually a Japanese bloke answers..."Harro", says the chappy.

"Alright mate, where's ya bin?" asks the dustman.

"I bin on toilet" replies the Japanese bloke, looking perplexed.

Realising the Japanese fellow has misunderstood, the binman smiles and says "No mate, where's ya dust bin?"

"I dust bin on toilet I told you" says the Japanese man.

"Mate" says the dustman... "you're misunderstanding me....Where's your wheelie bin?"

"OK, OK", says the Japanese bloke, "I wheelie bin on toilet"

You've bin had, mate.

Why not buy a long chain from a Yapi Market and padlock your wheelie to your gate.

Liverpool Police looking for Al-Qaeda cell in the City, caught 3 of the 4 and made an urgent appeal to the public. "Caught bin-drinking, caught bin-fighting, caught bin-stealing but looking for bin-working"!

I actually saw the bin today strapped to the back of a three legged donkey with J.C. aboard the beast,

Thanks for all the suggestions folks but paint can be removed from the bin, This one had the address etched on using a hot soldering Iron. As for chaining it up how do the refuse collectors empty it? They'd just refuse to do it!

We've bin had by Osama bin liner. Yes the police are looking into it but its no open and shut case. The Belideysi just think it's a load of garbage.

Anyway please keep your eyes peeled for the toe rag who nicked it.

Thanks,

Tim

I had mine taken about a month ago. Goodness knows why though, as it had no lid and the bottom was all broken up. I can only assume it is being used as a large flower pot.

One of my own neighbours took our bin. We'd only been away from the house for 1 day! When we can back our bin was sat outside their house full of their rubbish. Nice.
