Taxxi from Stansted airport to Surrey

Please can anyone give me an idea as to the cost of a taxi from Stansted airport to Cobham in Surrey. Thanks in advance.

why not get a txi to nearest train stattion and then get a train ....or try google network rail and take a look at enquiries etc .

i know you can get a train or coach airport express to london ,taxi i would think be expensive but car hire would be cheaper

Don' t use Stansted Express - total Rip Off !



Get a Bus (£9) to Victoria or Liverpool St, then tube or overground. Taxi will cost in excess of £70 as you can only use Checker Carz (Based within Stansted) no other taxi firm is allowed to pick up within the airport.



If you still want a taxi, ring me when u land I will bring you to our house (1 min away) and u can get a taxi to pick u up from here

Just been given a quote from Checker Cars of £243.90 return and that includes a discount of 15%. At that price need to think again.

Your local taxi firm Cobham taxis do one way for £95. They have a website think its http://www.oxshotttaxis.co.uk or something like that. Good luck

I googled 'stansted airport taxi' and 10 firms were listed, I got quotes from 2 of them and had a very good efficient and reasonable priced cab take us home. (All organised from my TRNC home via the net). They may not be authorised to stop at the arrivals door but you go down under the tunnel and they collect you from the kerb in the blue area. It was £70 to the bucks/beds border. HTH

Maybe try to organise a one dy one way car rental and then return you car to the local depot? We have a link to worldwide car rental on our site (we used to have two but one stopped operations), I have no idea if they will allow one day though.
