Good old Michael Owen just when you thought United had been "robbed" of a win he pops up in the 96th minute with a winner. Thank you ref as there were only four minutes shown Sir Alex must have given him one of his looks.

What a disgrace, 4 minutes added, and they score after 95 and 32 seconds, typical Old Trafford

Looks like Sir Alex has another referee in his pocket at OT, had the opposite happened and city got the winner WW£ would have been declared!

I was sitting outside this afternoon (no TV in sight), but I presume most contributors to this thread were watching some sport? Football? Who in the world cares about English football? How many English football players play outside the UK? (I repeat the question...). English football, who wants English football players? *Maybe* it's only interesting for Englishmen...?

=> See you all in South Africa 2010, dear Englishmen...

Mark Hughes only has himself to blame,he should know that if you do a substitution in the allotted injury time then the time it takes is added on.

Firstly.. Welcome DC to an article about football. Another contraversial comment designed to get a response. Well, now you're going to get one!

Seriously, if your country had enough football supporters willing to pay what Sky (UK) viewers pay, you may get some world class players plying their trade in the Netherlands. You may even have kept a few of the good ones.

Regarding the Champions League, how many Dutch teams were in the semi-finals last year? Answer, 3 less than the English. You may not comment on anything too historic. I.e. before 2008. I know you are fond of your history. LOL.

Well done to Man U. Thank you for not allowing the possible title contenders to get nearer to the best team in the PL.

You will still finish above them, but BELOW us.

Blue is the colour, football is the game.

Your ref had sex last night for 2 minutes. He boasted to his mates it lasted nearly seven! Mark Hughes should lend him a Rolex. There's a few going cheap down town.

nice one ,but stating the obvious

and that it takes time to build a team not just go shopping for one because you have all the money in the world....look at real madrid this season ,all because barcelona were kings of europe .

its the fans that you feel for, built up there hopes

Sky timed it all

the ref had added 4 mins

they city scored in extra time after a horrendous gaff by Rio they celebrated for 1.02 seconds

Sir Alex then made a substitution and you have to add at minimum of 30 seconds for that

that makes 5 mins 32 seconds goal scored 5 mins 27 seconds

And the best team won Berbatov should have scored at least one shey given was by far the busierst GK mark Hughes is trying to undermine the ref

Also it should be noted Sir Alex has not been a great fan Of Martin Atkinson for some big mistakes he made in a couple of untted matches he refereed in the past season

so city you should be used to being second best after all its not new
