I used Tektan of Kyrenia for my television installation. I found them First Class. Service was impeccable. Quality of goods was



excellent. Turned up when they said they would. A subsequent visit was needed, which proved to be my fault, and despite this



the same service was provided. A First Class Company and worthy of your business.



For once...Lets hear it for the good guys!

Haven't used Tektan since 2004, when I first came here. Had my furniture delivered and my wife, like they do, wanted the twin beds and a double bed swapping rooms. Couldn't get the headboards off without tools so went shopping. First place I found open that sold the tools I needed was Tektan, opposite the coffee house on Girne High Street. Got a pair of pattern lockable pliers, a Stanley screwdriver and a 7/8 mill open/ring key. I thought the guy at the till said "70,000,000 tl" (before they shed the 0's) I gave him 80,000,000tl. He looked surprised but quickly recovered. He gave me 10,000,000tl change but no receipt. After a couple of days I came to the conclusion that he'd actually asked for 17,000,000tl. I returned to Tektan but the guy refused to discuss unless I had a receipt. I contacted Ali Tektan via TRNC Villa Owners website. He replied via e-mail, promising to investigate and remedy the overcharge. Despite numerous e-mails from me, he never again replied.

Just had tv satellite package fitted to two apartments by tektan. Prompt, neat and tidy . good price. Excellent.

Well they certainly couldn't erect our 4.2 metre dish, they didn't bother turning up, made several excuses and quite frankly wouldn't use them again..when they eventually managed to fit it they couldn't tune it in. Appalling!

Personallythink this company are a total waste of space. Used them when I first came here 5 years ago and was totally ripped off. Never again!

Tektan? Phew. After more than five years: some switches in my house still don't switch on the expected lights. Switch off the mains and the refrigerator still works. Want to switch off the light outside? Need a gun to get the job done. Tektan? Never ever again.

Tektan workers always make me laugh. They know they are coming out to install or relalign a satellite dish but do they turn up with a set of ladders?? NO!



Once they arrive we then spend half an hour or so trying to find someone that has some ladders that we can borrow so that they can get on the roof to do the job that they were originally called out for!!



Why on earth they do not carry ladders on the roof of their van is anyones guess.

If this is the business Tektan that operates behind the PIA BELLA hotel, i feel sure it is, I have nothing but praise for them,they installed equipment for us, worked on the roof for hours in summer heat had to return the following day,(not planned ) all the way to and fro Tatlisu, all with a smile 10/10 from us
