Directions From Nicosia To The Pyla Crossing Please

Can anyone give me accurate directions from Nicosia to the Pyla crossing please.

From the South side or the North side of Nicosia?

The quickest way is from the North - so if you are in the South, cross over at Metehan crossing point.

Then - Follow the signs for Girne/Gazimağusa until you hit the 'rocks on sticks' roundabout, then head towards Gazimağusa (Famagusta).

You will pass a white Mosque with twin minarets on the right hand side - turn right at the next roundabout, and just keep going, you will come to the crossing point.

Approx how far before the Mosque?



Just a straight road no deviation then, is it a main road?

keithcaley is right but I just give you same direction with some landmarks, From girne head for lefkosa when you get to main roundabout do left follow the signs for gazimagusa,keep going at least 35 -40km, you will pass demirhan,aslankoy,turunclu,inonu then you come to dortyol mosque on your right , you will see roundabout ( only roundabout) ahead turn right keep going follow the road you will come to 4 ways straigt ahead then you come to pergama(beyarmut) can't miss the crossing.

From Nicosia to Famagusta you pass through the village of Dortyol ( Maybe wrong name ) It has a large Mosque on the right hand side and you then take a right to Turkmankoy which is sign posted..

Its a straight road with only one roundabout which you go straight over.

When you get to Pyla continue straight on through the village and the border crossing is at the end of the street.

On the Greek side if you continue for about two miles you will come to the turn of for the M3 go left for Iai Napa ( spelling ) about 20 miles or right to Larnaca which is about 10 or 12 miles away.

I may be a bit out on the miles but not by much.
