The Gunes bus service from Esentepe to Girne has recently been increased/ improved.



The new timetable is as follows



Leaving Esentepe (24 Hour Clock) Monday to Friday

Leaving Girne (i.e. to Esentepe) Monday to Friday

Hi Aussie,



Do you know if there is any possibility of a bus service along the coast road as far as Tatlisu? I am sure there are plenty of folks who would use it, especially in the summer.

Well done Aussie, Butlers wife I was asking the same question at the dolmus car park in November 07, but the bus drivers said that catch the esentepe bus and get a taxi for the rest of the journey to tatlisu.

One day it will go all the way to Tatlisu...........hope so !

Not sure about plans for Tatlisu or how bus/ dolmus companies get the rights to service a particular route but will mention it to one of the drivers.



I have seen a small Dolmus from another operator that goes to Bahceli but heard on the grapevine this is only once a day (but haven't had this confimed).



I think it would make sense to continue to Tatlisu or even change at Esentepe to a smaller dolmus depending on numbers.



Perhaps the best way to try to get something happening is to ask as many people of influence as possible such as the larger developers in Tatlsiu and on on the way there eg Turtle bay and maybe the Mukhtar etc. The population must be increasing a lot on the way to Tatlsiu as developments are finished and we would only need a small fraction of the dolmus/ bus number that go to Lapta etc.



I am also hoping we can get some night buses going so you can go out for dinner or drinks and not have to drive home.

P.S Can you see find out if they go to Tatlisu - Bar 11 seems a lively bar !
