Apart from the villages along the route which I respect,are there any others in the open countryside,where there are signs they are there.

They used to be found on the Lefkosa to Gazi Magusa road around the army camp as there is a spped limit as you pass it.

There's a few signs but I haven't seen any cameras, apart from the hand held ones, and these are fairly infrequent. Be aware that the maximum speed limit once you turn onto Acupulco Road is 80, all the way to Tatlisu.

On this road mentioned in message 3 there is nearly always police presence along there, not a bad thing by any means!!!

Hi mikelapta,

There are 2 fixed radar traps between Girne & Esentepe,

Driving east from Girne.

One is just after the old Lemar, in Karacum,

and one at the new Lemar, Çatalköy

Both have warnings as you approach.

There are none between Esentepe and Tatlisu.

Although there are some other warnings,

three after the Lemar Çatalköy camera,

but no cameras have been installed, yet!!!

So after Acapulco,none.

And,whilst on the subject,West from Lapta towards Guzelyurt,

I don't think there any,last one before the Golden Lady in Alsancak?
