Is there anyone out there that can help me with a way of meeting people here. I am a middle aged single women who would like to meet someone for days/evenings out. Possible chat via email first to get to know each other? Or perhaps be bold and actually meet up.

I know exactly how you feel. It would be ever so nice to meet people and enjoy good conversation, any conversation. I had hoped to find a good long term rental recently which ticked all the boxes but was not successful otherwise i would have stayed longer.



I hope to return end of January to look again for another month. Anyway, if you are still there i would be happy to meet with you and go out, no strings attached, and come to that with any other lady if they wish.



In the meanwhile, i wish you much success in getting to meet other nice people on this forum. I wouls like to meet as many single people as possible too! This thread of yours will attract interest, believe me.

From my experience happiness comes to you as long as you're not dis-attracted. Happiness is the noun and I've never been to "within" nor Wigan.
