Looking at Google Earth there seems to be a beach across the road from The Ship Inn. Does anybody know what it is like, is it sandy or stony. What is it like to swim at. How long is it to walk to and is there a charge etc etc

you have to paid to enter to jasmine court beach area - around ship inn you have lots of hotel on the see side but it is private beaches - the only one i know as a public one is alagadi beach - next to turtle beach - very nice one but far - 15 to 20 km minimum - some other see side are so dirty and full of glass bottle that you cannot go - my advice is stay at ship inn of go to alagadi if you can !

If you take a left onto the main road outside the ship and drive for maybe 5 minutes, you will see signs for the Mercure Hotel. Turn off there and you will find yourself at Karvanseray Beach which is small but very nice. You may have to pay a small charge for using the sunbeds etc but it is very close to the ship and has a lovely little restaurant above it called the Kervan Pizza Garden.

We haven't used the beach yet we usually go there to watch the sun go down. Romantic or what?
