Thank you Turkish Airlines and Ercan Airport

Our Daughter and Son flew from Manchester to Ercan on Tuesday wth Turkish Airlines. The flght was late by 119 minutes due to snow and ice on the runway at Manchester...... so they missed the connection at Istanbul.(Not Turkish Airline's fault) So Turkish Airlines took them to a 5 star hotel in Istanbul,(at their expense) and they caught the first plane out the following morning to Ercan Our daughter's bag also went missing and they (ErcanAirport) kept in touch with us by phone, ringing 3 times to assure us that the bag had been found. Credit where credit is due. Turkish Airline's were great and a big thank you especially to Attilla,(Ercan Airport) who was pleasant, helpful and kind to our kids.

they did same with us when we missed our connection to ercan, they also never charged us a penny when all three cases were over weight and we too a glass and metal flat packed tv stand that weighed twenty five killos on its own! class airline

Great to hear some positive news about one of the airlines at least, especially when airlines get slagged off most of the time (often with just cause, probably).

We use them all the time to fly from Antalya to Istanbul and jan.13th we fly with them from Antalya to hong kong and back 3 weeks later.I class them on the same level as BA.Used them many times on Long Haul flights as I did with BA for over 30 years when I worked.Very good airline.
