The above are loads of fundraising ideas. For instance - sponsered car wash. We have water, can supply soap and water!! Coffee while you wait? loads of ideas - including slave auction - hilarious at my local golf club in the UK - designer handbag ladies" cleaning kitchens, ironing, etc. Solicitors ( and our local judge and councillor) offering to weed gardens etc!! It was great fun, all we need is a cafe type venue??? I have already offered myself as a dinner party chef - washing up included - who else is up for a slave auction???

Nor me!! Just me an' you girlfriend so far!! But, I am a WICKED cook and if someone wants to hold a dinner party, I will supply myself, cutlery and plates!! and a wonderful 3 course meal for six!!!

Maybe we could combine this idea with Janes from the other thread of a charity night with local entertainers and kill 2 birds with 1 stone.

Yeah, but where? Is there a truly charitable venue that will dedicate the evening purely to charity? The Girne amphitheatre springs to mind - volunteers to do BBQ? Midday? - No lights needed? Just basic microphone skills etc? Beleydiye support?

Not a genious, just chomping at the bit to do SOMETHİNG!! All I can offer is myself and Botanica frontage for bring and buy etc..............

exnavalperson the triplets and their family are being helped by the SOS project, They will be 3 months old this week and sadly all 3 are suffering from eyesight problems which will require surgery.

As any parent can appreciate coping with 3 babies is very expensive and we need nappies, milk and to try and raise money towards the cost of the operation and the constant flights to Turkey.
