Great player Tevez. And i have always admired him as a player.Massive engine good pace and a great goal scorer.Has to be said though that i did admire him more when he played for United. But has Fergie dropped his biggest bollock by letting him go,.

fergie dont make many mistakes , city wont win the title , dont think they will even make the champions league , they would still be where they are if sparkey was still in charge , money dont buy it .

grey i think its deeper than fergie letting him go , things are comming out now about how serious the debt level is at our club, if we hadnt sold ronaldo for £80m we would have lost £40m this trading year.

im sure its down to money why he left , im not sold on the rummors he wanted 150k a week but even if he did we should be big enough to pay it.

grey , our club might go to the wall , some expert on it was on talk sport this morning and he reckons the real level is approaching a billion pounds!

the latest is the glazers have instructed uniteds accountants to raise 500 million thro a bond issue ?

all beyond me but its very worrying

Andy,

You call them "our club" but unfortunateley there not any more as they are owned by the yanks. Before they came along United where the richest club in the world. The only club in Manchester that could be classed as "our club" would be F.C.UNITED OF MANCHESTER.Not having a go mate just stating facts,

massive mistake if berbatov is worth 30 mil tevez is worth 50. most managers would have lost there job for wasting that much money on a player who dont look at all interested. As for fergie its about time he was brought across the coals for constantly tapping up players like he did tevez. He and redknapp think they are above the law as they are always at it. Man u will win nothing this year so i suppose you are spot on greylag

Not saying that they wont win anything.Just think that Fergie will rue the day that the little guy left United,

i was worried when they floated on the london stock exchange way back , but this was the begining of the fergie glory years with the club awash with cash it never seemed dooms day was around the corner.

but when you float on the exchange your up for sale to who ever can pay cash out of his arse pocket or borrows the money from the bank , sadly it was the latter

I think fergie pissed off tevezs agent as he was promised the deal then went back on it . from what i understand carlos is very loyal to jarobchin and that was the reason he went cos of the way his friend was treated

Greylag,

Great posting re-"our club" I am a member of f.c.united and have a say and a share in the running of the club.Still support United and have done since i care to remember.I watch more f.c. games live now then i do Man United games and love going back to grass roots level.Going to Old Trafford just isnt the same any more.To many heavy handed stewards that need a good slapping. The atmosphere at "the shrine" just isnt the same now,and i cannot see it ever coming back.Get yourself to Gigg Lane on Saturday and join around 2,000 Mancs (except me from Hull) for a proper experience,

Paul.

agree paul

dont attend OT any more out of sheer greed.hate the fact the atmosphere is none existent ,all prawn sandwiches and kids looking around because daddys friend gave them 4 season tickets etc .

as for fergie ,dont anybody offer snipes at him...the yanks are to blame and i here now a chinese consortiumn have offered 1 billion for total control.

city and its money will buy what they want to get a slice of tv and world branding ,then when arabs get bored will ditch it .....i just hope for citys fans base U.A.E isnt another dubai marketing machine waiting to collapse

What I would like to know is how many M.U fans actually come from the Manchester area, or pay their money at the turnstiles a lot of such fans support teams that are doing well through tv, and have never set foot in Old Trafford.

I do not think United miss Tevez as he was never really a first choice.

United's defensive injuries has been a big problem

but the biggest loss of all is Ronaldo's departure to Real Madrid......for me the best player ever to grace the premiership

A great example of Man Utd problems was last weeks cancellation of the first leg semi final against Man City (snow, they live in the same city)! if two teams from the same city can not fulfill their obligation because one teams fan base are from London and the home counties then how on earth is that club going to have the financial backing needed to progress, sorry Man Utd, but take the example of Everton a team with fans that live with a 50 mile radius of the ground and love football, Liverpool as Man Utd have the same problem their fan base is outside the county even the southern hemisphere, if your a true supporter of these fine cities then it's Everton or Manchester City all the way.

a big majority of man city fans come from stockport thats a fact.if united and liverpool dont have fans from their own cities.mancs and scousers must be bad supporters, howmany times do city or everton over a season get a full house.derby day or ,when they play the big clubs.hear it all the time when im not in manchester, there,s more city fans in manchester then utd fans, never heard it yet of a manc city fan,and i know plenty of them.

m.u.f.c. also they havnt got massive grounds to fill have they.

hundreds of thousands.if your so interested, get in touch with old trafford they will give you the percentage in the ground with a manc post code.tell them you are doing a survey of local poeple who watch their local clubs.a similar question to this was asked some time ago,not positive but i think it is 76 percent of poeple in the ground.i think you will still find this betters nearly all the clubs in the prem for local support, and for the other 24 percent what great supporters every home game at ot is an away game..

Well said clayton, unfortunately I have been away from Manchester since 1970 and tried to get to matches whenever I was back in the UK (luckily my brother has his season ticket and he gave it up when I was in town). Having moved here from Scotland I was atonished on first moving ther in 1993 the number of Scots who travelled down to Old Trafford for each "home" game. If they were travelling from Aberdeen it could be a 12 hour round trip.

So do I .. Going to Liverpool 2 pts in front .. To a team who would lie down .. I don't think so .. It's only the best team that wins the title when it's M.U. .. Any other team & they are lucky ..

we will catch up one day, decanddyl i think there as always been a big following from scotland.you always get poeple going on about the different fans that attend old trafford.i think maybe they are a bit jelous that they have no interest in their team.get pissed of myself with the prawn brigade.if you notice there is always more atmosphere at night matches,i think more of the real fans get chance.anyway all the best mate.

Dont think the hammers really had a say in it did they.Just like Lampard,Cole,Defoe. They tend to school great young players but lose them to the bigger clubs.Which is a shame.Imagine where they would be now if they could have hung on to them,

tevez only left west ham because hes agent never bought the club . i think he would still be there .i also think he is not motivated by money he just needs to play football and be happy at the club he is with . man u never gave him enough respect as far as im concerned, he is a legend at west ham ,any hammer will back that up

i will never forgive him , his first game against west ham for utd , he could have scored a hat trick , he didnt want to know , west ham beat utd , he was the only utd player that left the pitch smiling . he only left utd because his agents own him and they wanted 25 million , sir alex said no , now hes at city , he will win a lot theyre not , next bidder please , carlos tevez . com
