What a super turn out on a beautiful day. Even ELVIS managed to show him self today at Guido,s, loved the suit .I had a lovely afternoon and enjoyed the food and meeting some faces in person.

I have just got back from Guido's. Fantastic buffet lunch with desert and at a very good price. There were around 30+ people there along with Elvis doing his stuff and the awful nurse doing BP tests and telling us we were all spring chickens. I heard on the grapevine that this could become a regular event and am looking forward to a few more lunches like that. Thanks Lille and Guido was good.

Got home at 4.30 having arrived at Guidos at about 12.30 - so a good time was had by all thanks to Liz and Guido and of course, Elvis!! Thanks to everyone who entered the raffle - we made a nice amount towards dog food for Liz's strays = so thanks to all. Yes, Liz confirmed they will be doing a buffet lunch on a Thursday - from now on I suppose, but check with her first in case its not til April. And Hans, the man who is never wrong, is wrong! It started out with 44, but there were some rather late comers which put the numbers up - and I didnt guess or make it up - Liz told me!!

thank you all we did what we always do but today was for the people who love us, chris the nurse is responsible, elvis aka johhnylee what a STAR. h e is one amazing guy. today has shown me how much we are loved, i can never replace it. I can not see myself or the old man wanting anything else. Yes he has been offered a job south side 3000 euros a month, well betwen you and me how long will he last. thars not to say he is not a wsorker as he is the hardest woking man i know, but living here for 5 years and take orders from well you know, book the flight xxxxxxxxxxxx

Zerochlor - you, on the other hand, I can see as a definite Bentley owner. We have friends and neighbours in TRNC - ask Liz about Jill and Brian- he had a Bentley in the UK for many years.

Hello everyone, as you all know i don't often post on the forum (lilli does that and plenty of it) but i would like to thank the people that made the effort to come along and show their support. one the reasons that i was thinking to sell Guido's is because we work here for virtually nothing. I receive at least 3-4 offers of job around the globe every single day and trust me the amount of money offered is considerably large, but having said that as my wife said in one of her post where else would you find kind and lovely people like you?. Money play a massive part in human life this days but does not buy love, feelings, smile or appreciation.

Actually the car photo was me trying to buy it off Zerochlor, we had almost arrived at a deal, but he wouldn't throw his beautiful girlfriend in as part of the package.



We have even had a posting off the always beautiful, and ever popular Kerry. (Kezspot) She's a star in my book all the fantastic shows and the hard work she did here to entertain. TRNCs loss, and Barbados's gain.



Look forward to seein'g you all again. Maybe Guido and Lilly will need another party for all the people who couldn't make it.

Zerochlor, Hans and Sheila thanks for getting the memories on film. It was a great day and as I predicted the sun shone for us. Lovely to meet everyone and put faces to names, also what a healthy bunch almost all Blood Pressures within normal limits. Zerochlor as Simbas said 120/90. 90 being the bottom figure so a healthy speciman!!



Hopefully we can have 44 for Cyprus44 next time so watch this space for news of the next get together.

This is Ian and Emmy, the Australian and Chinese couple who called in there for a coffee. We did try to get back there for a meal last Tuesday, but at 5:30 it was closed, and a man said it wouldn't re-open til 7:00, so we went elsewhere.



It sounds like you had a great party there, and we would have been there had we known about it. But we'll be back in June/July and see you then.
