What's the position on car insurance, do you shop around here like we do in the UK? I believe it's the the insurance follows the car, not the driver, so I wondered whether it's just one set of rates for different cars regardless of who you are?

Any advice gratefully received.

Basic insurance is 230tl-250tl this is 3rd party minimum after that it just depends on what you want even liability for passenger injuries dependent on fault blame if you have an accident

msg7. Head office of Gunes sigorta is in Nicosia, rest of the offices is agent. Also i heard Steve Dickinson ows 250000TL to Kibris sigorta!!!!Thats why he is dealing with another company now, and i heard Kibris sigorta stopped to pay his customers. İ think steves customers should contact to Kibris sigorta head office to find out whats going on...then recomend him for other people...

I hope you have evidence and are not just repeating rumours, which are of course not endorsed by Cyprus44 or any associated with it.

as I said in another thread, only people can give you this information. Which person? You say you are a 100% sure but if you personally spoke to someone that is a strange phrase to use.
