Having made the trip in my jeep, as follows :- dover -calais ,motorway to mont- blanc tunnel into Italy, ferry form Brindizi to ceshme(turkey) drive through Turkey to Tasucu, Ferry to Girne, total cost petrol and ferries 1000euro duration 4-5 days

Can you please answer the following questions regarding the route from UK to TRNC.

Does the ferry from Brindizi to Turkey operate in early October?

Do you have to pre-book the ferry? (If so can you please supply the contact details for this)

Is the 4-5 days allowing for rest periods?

Does the total cost include motorway toll costs?

We are looking to drive over in October in our 4x4 from the Isle of Man and have been exploring all the possible routes including overland which I am not really keen to do. Any further detailed information would be greatly appreciated

I too intend to drive my VW Camper across to TRNC, can you possibly post exact details of the journey you took or if you like send the details to my yahoo email address.

the quick way, is to drive all the way, 40 hours driving time approx.

The ferry takes 3 days, and apparently it is a ferry, not a cruise!!!!
