Hi,

Following adverts for several weeks in Cyprus Today, has anyone had the Nilesat system installed or have any more information on it, its by Uran Electronics for £110 with dish and FTA. Does anyone know how many (decent) English channels you get? And sorry if i'm stupid but whats an FTA, is that the box?

I've seen other adverts as well for Nilesat in the paper for 500TL, how come this Uran Electronics can do it so much cheaper? What's the catch?

Thanks

Kelly

Hi Kelly.

Have a read of this, it should give you most of the info you need!!!

FTA means free to air.

I have had it a few weeks now and with all the wind and rain, there was no loss of signal or picture quality.

thanks very much for the reply Baldeagle, had a look and may give it a go

All we really want is a few English movie channels, fox series, nature documentaries and if at all possible to watch F1 when its on. I've seen the list of channels, but as you have it, pls can you give me a bit more info?

Thanks

ONLY way to get F1 reliably ( English and access to all practise / Qualies / race / post race forum / re-runs) is via a 1.8m dish and a SKY box - no sub needed
