Return tickets to Turkey with Easyjet are quite reasonable at the minute and with a connecting domestic return flight to Ercan at £62 it seems a much cost effective option " Transit Travel " can organise the Turkey to Ercan flights , and marry them up to your flights from the uk . Has anyone done this before and how did you find it ?

Many thanks , Patricia

I have used them a few times before with flights to Ercan , good prices too , but they are getting quite expensive , so i was having a little moan { not nastily } saying about the cheap flights to Turkey , when she said she could arrange the Turkey to Ercan flight . I am actually thinking of giving it a go , no harm done if it doesn't work out but the savings speak for themselves . Just thought someone might have done it before

Yeah , well forgive me , but I'm not one for anything physical , I'm more of a deli gator , and definitely a " Carrot Cake "

Patricia,

We can also supply EasyJet (over our web site) and likewise can offer you cheap flights on the second leg.

We tend to avoid making this offer (like the plague) - as you need to guarantee two different flights with two different airlines will fly on time (or at all), with a long enough time gap to collect luggage, pay your Turkish Visa (if needed), check in yourself and bags (with no priority) and try not to have too much time to spend money in another airport (usualy SAW). I reckon the bare minimum time you should allow (not including hicups) should be one hour 45 minutes and that is very risky. Neither your travel insurance and agent will cover you for losses should the flights not match or even be cancelled.

IAH have even designed a special "Transfer Tour" so that you can visit Istanbul to make better use of the time and leave your bags with the driver while there. We advise allowing a lot of time to make this worthwhile.

Call me if I can help.

Tom

Hi Simbas, I booked all our flights in September last year and paid only £80.98 each return from Stansted to Ercan. I know that Transit Management are dearer than booking direct but Linda, Ray and Jaime are really helpful.

Phylray-message 19

I have booked a total of 12 flight over 4 different dates for £80.98 each for this year but I booked them all in September last year. I booked directly on the Pegasus website.

The earlier you book, the cheaper the flight.

Has anyone found that Pegasus seems a bit more expensive for their autumn flights this year?

I have had some super deals from Ercan to Stansted but can't find any this time for November or December. Will now look at Simbas's suggestion.
