What exactly do you mean by 'unfinished'?

The furniture is constructed and ready to go. All I have to do is varnish/paint.

You need to talk to Kadir at 'Ronnies Furniture'. They have their own carpentry workshop so can construct any piece to any stage. However, if you wish for a smooth finish, the wood needs to be spray painted - either colour, or varnish. They have their own spray booth, so normally spray several thin coats, which is the best method. I presume you want to hand paint your furniture, but as carefully as one is capable of doing this, you cannot possibly get the same result. Also, you would be buying all the paraphernalia - brushes, sandpaper, paint, thinner, etc.........but, if it's a pleasurable pastime/hobby for you, go for it!

Thanks to both of you guys for the information. My sons create really interesting pieces of art using various spray painting techniques. I like furnishing my home with their work.

Do they use an 'airbrush'?

If you want to view some really interesting and different types of furniture, you should definitely pop in and talk to Kadir at 'Ronnies'.

Anyway, mollycorbin, a most interesting posting - refreshing!

Thanks Tenakoutou. I will definitely check out Ronnie's. We are really excited about moving over. There are so many interesting and fun things to get involved with. Life is what you make of it! We intend to grab Cyprus by the "you-know-whats!"

Take care.
