Has anyone managed to re-book flights from UK?

Our flight was cancelled yesterday. I heard from BA that they were not taking any bookings until at least 28TH April or beyond, even if the situation improves, as there will be a backlog of passengers.



Just wondering if anyone has managed to book flights and what date they are taking bookings for.

i've rebooked with pegasus for sunday, once my flight was cancelled they rebooked straight away

(MrWilson's Wife) I have re-booked my mum's flights this morning with BA, I did it through BA Nicosia +35722799999. At first they said I had to ring the UK no, but it is permanently engaged of course so I called back and persisted. They tried to re-book her for tomorrow but she wanted to let the dust settle (no pun intended) so I've booked her for 15th May.

I am due to fly back from Gatwick tomorrow morning but as it was looking more and more likely it would be cancelled I took a chance and booked another one for Wednesday 28th Gatwick to Larnaca as I am pretty sure the flights will increase in price due to the demand. If I am lucky enough to fly I will post the ticket for sale on forum Wednesday night so if your interested keep a look out .

I don't think that you can sell your ticket because they will charge as much as it cost to change the name on it.

Price ONE WAY from now until 5TH May £811. ON 5TH May it reverts to £160.

Larnaca Cyprus Air say that they are not selling any tickets/changing bookings or allowing change of carrier until they know they can fly you. They say there will be extra flights put on to clear the backlog WHEN they are allowed to re-commence flying.

Best of luck everyone I know how you feel, my better half is stuck the wrong side of the pond ans her flight has just been cancelled for tomorrow!
