Coming from Alsancak direction...

Drive through the LA Strip, Celebrity Hotel on the RHS, LA Hotel on the left... Just past the LA Hotel turn left and drive a couple of hundred yards up the road. Château Lambousa is off to the left as you reach a bend in the road.

As above, also the L A Hotel is pink so you shouldn't miss it , well worth a visit . Some stalls pack up by 12.30, but

noticed last week a sign saying open until 3pm. Some weeks there is also an auction, although this doesn't seem to be advertised at all.

Still think of most stalls packing up by 12.30 to 1pm because although the sign was put up last week saying it goes on until 3pm, the stallholders were not asked first, and most want to still finish at lunch time.

As Groucho said..................Coming from Alsancak direction.......................which is also Girne direction.

Drive through the LA Strip, Celebrity Hotel on the RHS, LA Hotel on the left... Just past the LA Hotel turn left and drive a couple of hundred yards up the road. Château Lambousa is off to the left as you reach a bend in the road.

Continue along avenue of trees for 400 metres, go under the arch and the Chateau and car park awaits.

Market hours seem to have got longer from the original 10 - 1.00 by the actions of the stall holders and now recognised by management. I think some stall holders would still be there at midnight if they reckon they could make a sale!

If you need to know when the next Auction is the person to contact is Ian on 0533 873 0301

Stella,

We were asked if Stallholders had to be off the premises by 13:00. Our answer was that they could - if they wished - remain until 16:00. It's completely up to them how long they wish to stay.

As I always stay East of Girne in Esenteppe I do not know many of the places past Girne, so sorry ...I did not realise that the Alsancak directions were also the Girne directions.

But thanks for your directions.

No problem Christine re message 10.

Although I'm a local the market is well worth a visit - it normally has about 100 stall holders and refreshmant facilities.
