Holiday makers in a neighbouring villa went to escape beach with their 3 year old and 5 months old yesterday. This is their second trip there and will be their last.

A boat trip came in and dumped their toilet waste in the sea, at the time the 3 year old was in the water with her dad. He said it was disgusting faeces and toilet paper floating along. He did complain to the manageress at Escape Beach who said she would see about it. But obviously too late for this family. Is this common practise for these boats?

Such a thoughtless and utterly nauseating and revolting act defies description; but when one sees so many of the picnic areas, it's not so surprising.

Did they get the name of the boat? If they did they can report it to the harbour master, whose office is in the new Harbour.

This is not new, they have been doing this for years. No one seems to do anything about it. Way back in the eighties we reported boats for empting their tanks into the bay at Golden Beach. Nothing changed.

The first ( and last) time I ever went to this beach in 1997 there was toilet waste floating in the sea. It looks as those nothing has changed.

We went to Deniz Kizi beach on Saturday. 6TL per person for bed and umbrella, very clean and wonderful clean, clear water that is very shallow so perfect for children. Was also pleasantly surprised at the prices in the cafe and lovely fresh juice (choose your own fruit) for 5TL.

Perhaps they should rename the beach - 'Floater's Beach'!

In all fairness to Escape beach it wasn't their fault but I will try to find out the boat name and report it.

All marine vessels are required to empty their "Dirty Water" tanks at least one mile out to sea. Please report this vessel to the harbour master in the New Harbour.. The sooner the better.

In all the time I have been here I have not seen one of the gulets go a mile out to sea. Even the ferries have to leave harbour together in case they get lost!!!
