I use green island and the manager informed my wife in Uk the airline is bust

I will verify this in the morning as I fly out on the 31st and need to know where I stand

Any one in a similar situation

We fly out on June 5th with KTHY and have not heard anything upto now, we booked via the website, will try and contact them and post if i hear anything.

this story has been covered extensively over last two weeks . CTA have financial problems and have had for donkeys years, last week end they a meeting that resulted in debt restructre ( alias being bailed out by the turkish government ).



been loads of post on here about it .



we fly saturday from manchester by the way .

It is not sure how long they will be safe but CTA are safe at this time.

I can't get any answer that I feel is not careful from them at present but their UK based staff are trying hard to make sure of the airline and their jobs.



The worst thing is putting about rumours - the airline are in quite large debt but then many others might well be likewise for example BA. Ther are tour operators & agents in a far worse position if you take like for like with CTA.

I have had a price for a package holiday in December and the flight is with CTA, also flights are for sale for December on the website.

Flew back from Manchster with CTA last Wednesday 26th .. Went out Wednesday 19th ..

2 return flights £375.11p each .. £750.22p in total .. Booked 2 days in advance ..

Don't want to go again in a hurry ..
