Am hanging on with anticipation before I book any more Stansted flights, but Tom said they haven't got their slots yet .... unless anyone knows different!



Great news as far as we are concerned! Can't wait as it is so easy to get straight into Manchester Airport from Middlesbrough railway station.

I have spoken to Green Island Holidays this lunch time following an email from them this morning. They confirm the Pegasus flights from Manchester to Ercan. Sunday flight touch down Antalya. June fights from £220. Can be booked through Green Island now,

There is no official direct route showing as yet nor have we been advised. Anything can be done!



From Manchester you would not be advised to try:

15.08.2010 Sunday PC-496 Antalya-ANTALYA B737-800 12:00 18:15

From Antalya you would be hard pressed to catch the flight:

15.08.2010 Sunday PC-496 Lefkoşa-ERCAN B737-800 18:55 19:50



From Ercan to Antalya it would again be very, very tight to catch another flight / plane

From Antalya to Manchester

22.08.2010 Sunday PC-495 Manchester-MANCHESTER B737-800 08:45 11:20



Rememeber that check in closes 45 minutes before departure and you have to leave your inbound flight before you can do all the tasks to board the new flight.

Tom ( flightholidays ) i'm a bit confused, but thats not unusual. The flight numbers you quote are the same ie PC-495 and 496 does'nt that mean that they are the same flight so you will just be waiting on the tarmac for the onward flight? If so they are ' direct ' flights or as near as we can get.

I have probably missed something, but if they have a slot to fly from Manchester to Antalya, why can't the plane then fly on to Ercan and passengers stay on the plane in the same way as the Stanstead flights?

The information given in Toms statement is related to the information available at the minute given on the Pegasus website - http://www.pegasusairlines.com/en/ of course like he said this could all change once the routes have been finalised.

Sloan there are two terminals at Antalya Domestic and International so if the Ercan flight at present goes to the Domestic terminal you have a problem as that terminal is a cattle market I collected a car from there last October

It may be that they are looking to make it an international touch down as the KHTY flight to Heathrow is but are waiting for permission to move

We now know that there should be some new flights MAN ECN & ECN MAN with a drop down in Turkey - the exact details are not sure:

Service is due to Start 20 June End 26 September 2010 on Sundays only.



If you can get me groups of 16 travellers or more IAH will try to get you great prices. These will get a group booking rate. (Hopefully that should get you talking amongst yourselves till I'm back on Tuesday!)

Dena we can prebook hot meals for you on international legs they come at about GBP 7 or 8 per person when done that way.

From what others have said, by pass the meals - they are not that brilliant.



I would ask, why specifically do you want a hot meal? Do what the large proportion do and take a couple of butties you usually only eat for something to do on a flight.
