They sell a few things for children but you will have a better choice in the supermarkets on the way into Girne

Such as Tempo,Supreme, Lemar etc.

The supermarket on site is great for fresh bread, water beer etc..............we use it all the time we are there.

Hope you have a great time and I can't wait to get back there in July

greylag, there is a beach of sorts on the west side of Turtle bay complex, its a stony beach put does have an area covered in sand and also a decking area with sun loungers and also a platform built out in to the sea.

On the east end of the complex there is a stony beach in a nice sheltered cove just past Kings bar.

If you are looking for the bar/bistro on the beach that pipie describes, you're out of luck because it doesn't exist, there is a beach, there is a bar/bistro but they are not together.

Hi Greylag/Redsnapper

I have owned on TBV for 3 years in August for over twelve months now we have had a Bistro that receives lots of support from owners and passing trade you will be made to feel welcome by the owner the food is very good all be it a limited menu they also have wi-fi connection that is very fast and reliable and there is no problem using the wi-fi as long as you buy a drink. The owner Serhat is always on site and is an excellent host.

I find the best time to visit is around sunset you can sit outside overlooking the sea and watch the sun drop into the sea heaven here on earth.

We do have 2 beaches but I never use them unless I am fishing off the rocks there are a lot nicer beaches in the area but the developer is trying to improve them all be it at a slow pace.Whilst I cannot recommend the beaches I can definitely recommend the Bisrto.I arrive late Friday evening and we will drop the cases in the apartment and walk approx 150 yards to the Bistro for a quite drink.

Continued

With friends if I decide to have lets say a livelier night I will walk across to the Kings Bar again I will be made to feel very welcome by Paul and the staff the new outside area is excellent and cant wait to watch the England games with a great bunch of TBV owners I just hope that Paul and his staff have safer hands than the England goalkeeper when passing my JD and Coke over the bar.

Can't wait to be over in July 11th. Love it here but really longing for REAL heat

and a chance to cool out and renew friendships, swim in warm water outside and in

the sea. etc. etc. Hope to meet up with some more folks and call in for a drink!

Hi Jeanette

Wi-fi here goes .I am no computer nerd but in simple terms.

It means you can visit a venue and you dont need a dongle or to be plugged into anything I can sit inside or outside of the Bistro the owner gives you a code to log onto and away you go all done by remote access.

Hope that helps Jeanette
