I think nasty is on about this http://www.cyprus44.com/forums/3789.asp If half of what I have been told today is true Not only would I sack him I would give him a right beating. I am not prone to violence but for a lady to recieve the injuries she did at the hands of 2 men is dispicable.

If a lady has been assaulted in this bar have the police not been informed? I'm not sure that a public forum is the right place to be having this sort of discussion. It's gone from regulars not liking the bar manager to accusations of the landlord condoning drink driving (doesn't the driver take responsibility?) to serious accusations of assault. Surely it is now a police matter.

On behalf of the lady in question in the incident: "I appreciate all the support from everyone but would like to ask that this doesnt become a major topic of conversation! The pub only had a couple of customers in at the time and no-one saw the incident from start to finish as it took place in the kitchen mostly. My husband will be back soon and hopefully all will be resolved. Thank you again."

Very wise. I'm sure the least this lady wants is people gossiping and speculating. I hope everything gets sorted out soon.

Having read this and other threads relating to Stumble, I am shocked at how nasty & spiteful people are. To put such disparaging comments about people on here and to potentially damage someones business, over a matter which few people know the truth about, is disgraceful. This has gone beyond a discussion to a vendetta and to make personal and slanderous remarks about others on here is unacceptable. You would not like this if it was YOU being discussed like this on here (especially by people who do not have facts, just gossip). The people who are taking part in this should be ashamed of themselves, especially as so many of them pretend to be 'friends' of Mick. This is meant to be a forum, where all people can participate and discuss things reasonably. To use it for this type of thing is vindictive and I feel that the moderator should step in. As a customer of the Stumble I will continue to support the pub, but as for this forum, I think its time something was done. It should not be a method or vehicle for people to publicly abuse others.

This forum is going crazy. Why did the person concerned not call the police and then leave it at that. Incidents as such do happen all over the world and the police should be called to sort the matter out in a proper way. To then have all sorts of accusations spead on a form is way out of control.

Despite reading items on this forum I have never felt compelled to post on here - until now. The items and people from posts 1-6 on here (and the other thread) should be banned! It is spiteful bullying. These poeple should be removed and as for the person who started the rumours in the first place, they should think next time before saying such things. I know someone who WAS there that evening and it is certainly a very different story from the one being bandied about here.

Elliecy Thank you for asking that I should be banned. If you read my post number 5 I was actually questioning why this was being discussed on a public forum and pointing out that the police should be dealing with any serious accusations rather than trial by bulletin board. Jo

We did ask that this subject matter be dropped from the Forum. While various people are obviously trying to stir up bad feelings of all concerned, the people actually involved are working on a solution. Please leave it at that and show some respect for both parties's desire to resolve this matter without everybodies comments. That would be much appreciated. Thank you.
