1001 Near Ercan Airport

Hi, I hope everyone is enjoying the glorious weather over there.



Does anyone know the opening times for 1001 near Ercan Airport, weekdays and weekends. Also would be grateful for directions from Esentepe.



I have heard that there is a 1001 in Kyrenia, but the larger 1001 is near the Airport and stocks much more. I need to buy 'stain blocker', roller, paint etc. as I have damp that has come through. Is there a possibility that I can buy those items there?

I have not seen paint in 1001. I would go to Marshalls nr. to Antique bar and restaurant. They have everything you will need. They can also advise on the damp issue, as I had this problem earlier in the year.

It will save you a trip over the mountain, what you save on the petrol, will balance any extra ytl you may pay at Marshalls.

Just take signs to the airport, and as you got off at the slip road to head towards the airport you'll see it on the right.

They are open 365 days. About 9 until 9. Maybe not exact but that will get you going.



Paint roller etc you will probably find, paint no.



Just for info, there is another 1001 in Lefkosa, the one I think is best although not as big as one at Ercan.



I hate shopping but like 1001 at Ercan and Lefkosa, I call it the shop where you buy things you did not even know you wanted. Couple of months ago they had special offer - Basmati Rice 5kg for 17tl. Best on south side was 25euro last I went nearly 2 years ago.

It's open 08.30 till 21.00 every day,they sell rollers but not paint(I was there myself yesterday)
