Question about N.Cyprus holidays, rentals etc

Have got a family of 4 interested in possibly holidaying in NC & renting a comfy 3-bed villa with pool in a peaceful setting (i.e. not on a complex of other properties). 2 kids aged 12 & 10 and whole family are used to camping so don't mind a bit of isolation. Hope to come out in August this year for 2 weeks. (Or next year if things don't work out ).

Anyone have any idea of an 'all-in' price for the 4 of them ? To include easyJet (or similar) return flites from B'ham or Bristol (has to be) to Larnaca, transfers to villa, villa rental & car hire for 2 weeks ? They told me they couldn't find anything along those lines in the Med. for less than £3,000 for 2 weeks. I said I was sure they could - in N.Cyprus. Please help to prove me right! (We wouldn't know where to even begin costings for a family of 4!). Thanks.

The first problem will be a lack of flights when they want to travel.

They can fly from Birmingham to Ercan. Villa rentals should still be possible but many of the ones that you will find will be on a complex of some sort or in a village. The price below 3,000 will mean that corners might be cut but we can try.



If a village let would help email me with ages and a phone number for you so we can chat and sort it through and I will try to pull something together for them.

Hi Tom. Thanks for your prompt response. I think they've decided they've left things too late this year to try for a holiday in NC and don't want to 'cobble things together' in a rush, especially as both parents work f/t and would need time to follow up on things. They don't want to fly CTA /BHX-ERC because they've heard of their solvency problems & also unreliable timetables. With 2 kids they can't take those risks. Don't think other flights go to ERC from BHX, do they? Anyway, a lot can happen in a year!



Back to the top (as they say). Still would like info and help/advice as to availability of the kind of villa/position mentioned in msg.1 and its price for 2 weeks, and average cost of return flites for 4 people (UK-Larnaca). I know that APD will be increasing but its just average figures we're looking for at this stage. Thanks again, folks.

It is on it's own on the hillside but is a reasonable walk down to Riverside Holiday village.

We have a villa that meets your requirements and would cost £1200 for 2 weeks (only available next year though - this year is fully booked). Monarch Airlines fly from Birmingham and are cheaper than easyjet.

If you rent a car with AoneRent-a-car, transfers are £25, the cheapest i've seen in TRNC.

I know a little more work is involved but it's so much cheaper if you do it yourself rather than look for the package holiday and you normally get better deals and the accomodation you want.

Hi

Why don't you do it yourself. Book a flight yourself. Check the flights and dates and then get yourself a villa. I have a contact that may be able to get you a three bed villa (not on a complex) for approx £600 per week. There are flights at present from London Gatwick Easyjet at approx £1,150 for 4 to Larnaca. Flying on Tuesday, 10th to Monday, 23rd August (if you can be flexible). Total holiday £1,150 for flights, £1,200 for villa and I can recommend Bird Rental Car Hire at under £300 for car for 2 weeks.

I know how difficult it is to book a villa at this late date but have just had to do the same as we were let down by the person we were booking from. The villa is in Ozenkoy if it is still available.
