Directions needed to Girne Wednesday Market

Can anyone tell me how to get to the Wednesday market in Girne from Famagusta/Bogaz area

Go to Lefkoşa, then take the road to Girne, over the mountain, past St Hilarion.

When you get to the bottom, on the other side, there's a roundabout with a blue stepped waterfall in the middle, take the first exit (Left!), and continue until you come to the next roundabout - this one has a fountain in the middle (Got LOADS of water, they have, in Girne ) - which may or may not be running.

You can either turn left just before this roundabout, & go to the end and turn right towards the parking area, or turn left at the roundabout, and IMMEDIATELY left again - if you pass an electricity sub-station on your right, you didn't turn left quite sharp enough! Then just keep turning left, until you see the Market on your left, and Parking on your right.

Hi Maureen,I assume if Bogas you will come the coast road.Just follow the coast road all the way past Esentepe,Golf course,another few miles,first give way,veer right,again straight road through Catalkoy

first roundabout,edge of Girne,take left road,200m traffic lights,straight on,follow road next roundabout,signposted left to Lefkosa,go straight on,about 300yards,past Arcelik shop,turn sharp left.Market is 100 yards away,take left there,opposite police station and you should be able to park.

Nicer way than the boring dual carriage way,lots of supermarkets around Catalkoy,including China Bazaar for bits and bobs.
