It is promising there is going to be one flight a day Stansted - Antalya - Ercan and back again laid on by Atlasjet

regarding changing bookings....How anybody can complain about this service, I dont know!!!! We have just been down to Atlasjet office at round 2.30 this afternoon, dealt with by three charming girls who reissued our tickets for 23 July,returning on 14 August. We knew we would have a problem with the destination as Atlasjet don't fly to Gatwick (yet,but soon to come), so took a flight to Stansted. Bit of bus ride, but in the circumstances, very acceptable! Return flight was from Manchester on a Wednesday...No flights until Saturday, and we werehappy to accept that. No ridiculous hours for take off, outbound 0730 Ercan, Manchester 1500.

They were also going to arrange exchange flights for a trip to Manchester next Feb, but we left that 'til later.



If anyone doesn,t know where the atlasjet booking office is, it's in the car park behind the big Atlasjwt sign on Levkosia roundabout.



And back home in Kara agac by 3pm

Just a word of warning to anyone who has been advised to go to Ercan and just get new tickets.

A friend has just asked me to post her experience today.

Her mother has been staying for the past three weeks. Last week, she was advised to just go anytime to change her return ticket, either prior to the flight, or on the day, at the airport office.

She went today, and was told that they have changed the system. Apparantly six other passengers were

left stranded today. My friends mum has had to book another flight via larnaca for tomorrow. Sadly,

she vows to never return via Ercan again.



What a sad time for the tourist industry over here, in a year that could have proved to put this island clearly on the world map as the beautiful island it is.
