All public beaches in Alsancak have free entrance - you only need to pay if you wish to use their facilities - sunbeds, parasols, showers, toilets etc...

There is a tiny gap between Denizkizi and Sandy Bay. Watch you do not get run over by the people launching boats.

There is a free beach at the old Mara Monte hotel. It is a lovely clean sandy cove, access next to the old hotel.

If you go down the road towards the sea where Mambo,s bar is turn left after the bungalow on the corner.Carry on for about 200 yards there is a pair of old rusty gates.Go through them and you will have a free beach.Take all your own drink,s etc as there is nothing for sale down there.

Following on from Wisers comments on mare Monte it is now open again and lovely.



Have been there all day today and they really are keeping it clean and tidy- lovely. Free sun beds and umbrellas ( first come first served). It tends to get busy from around 2pm, but if you go prior to that time, you should get bed and umbrella without a problem.



There is also a cafe serving drinks too.
