Bigger and better than last year, food at very reasonable prices, lots of shady areas to sit in.

Heading West past the Lapta strip on the way to Karsiyaka. When you see Hos Bes supermarket on your left take the next right turn (Sardunya Sokak). You will see the sign for the beach on the turning. Follow the road down to the sea bearing left at the bottom then turn right just before the unfinished hotel, through the rusty gates and follow the track round to the right and you will a sign for the car park.

Just back from Sardunya Bay, had a fantastic Bolognaise with taglatelle, yum absolutely perfect, plus free salad on the house. The Chef think (Nedim) gave me new prices for drinks and sunbeds etc.,

Sunbeds are 5tl but if you buy anything at the bar even just a diet coke the sunbeds are free and so are the other facilities, changing rooms and toilets etc.,

Local spirits are now down to 6tl with tonic and orange etc., Imports Gordons Gin etc., now down to 9tl.

Efes is still 5tl.

There were a couple of families down on the beach who seemed to be having a great time in and out of the sea, the beach is very clean and tidy.

Chef said when he gets electric he will do fresh potato chips but at the moment he is doing chunky frozen chips.

It's a beautiful place to go to with a very friendly atmosphere. I guess I will pretty much live down there for the rest of the summer.

Hey it's the best and they are so friendly down there. Yes they live in tents through the summer. This year they have taken on 2 extra staff as they were just overwhelmed last year with the numbers using it. hehe great place, probably the best.

We were there on Sunday and it is really a nice spot. We did have a go at Octo about the fact that he had no local white rum which he promised to rectify. Worth another visit for sure. Menu looked good and reasonably priced.

Just back from Sardunya Bay. Wow the wind was blowing a gale down there. Had Hellim kebab and chips. Good to see so many people there.

But the best news yet is that Aktoy is making Sardunya Bay an all year location. I was shocked and delighted at the same time. I think he is going to put up one of those heavy duty plastic tent type things for winter trade.

I suggested English Breakfasts hehehe or bacon sarnies as least.
