thought we would treat ourselfs to chinese takeaway 45 tl . very poor quailty .stoggy , chewy ,dry ,taste less ,but boxes were nice wots happened to place gone down hill .like many places ..i agree would of been better to go for sit down meal somewere else .. which we will in future ,..shame ..wake up these places were your bread and butter ,.. more now so that theres no toursits ,, wait till winter ! o sorry everyone puts prices up when trade slacking , good thinking !!!!!

I'll take that has a no then !! i agree the prices should reflect food quality but i would of at least voiced my complaint to them whether by phone or in person to see what they had to say before slagging them of on a forum.

I have always had really good food from there. A bit expensive but you get what you pay for.

Well I can say I DID COMPLAIN TO THEM, INFACT I COMPLAINED TO THE OWNER, I ASKED WHY HIS FOOD WAS SO EXPENSIVE AND NOT GOOD....RESPONSE....shrug off the shoulders and he said because the ingredients were expensive lol, I said what carrots are pricey cos that is basically all you get, bloody dreadful place, would never go again. I say boycott this place and teach him a lesson!

Cooper has a point bumbum. it's easy to just give a bad report on a forum, but if any of these places are to improve then they need feedback - good or bad! They may have given you your money back and promised next time would be better, or they may have 'shrugged their shoulders' - but unless they happen to frequent C44 they will never know that you were unhappy with that meal and they will continue to serve the same stuff.



I have only had one takeaway from there about a year ago and it was pretty good to be honest (if a bit expensive). Maybe the place has gone down hill since then?!?!



Msg 16 - is spot on. That post to Zerochlor could easily just have been someone putting down his product before they even came to him with their complaint. Funny how different people deal with things in different ways!
