I should not tell anyone this but...

Bafra Beldiyesi beach is usually spotless and completely free if you do not use the beds/parasols.

Long way to go from Girne though.

Try this one it is a fabulous cove, beach is clean, no charge for sunbeds if you buy a drink at the beach bar - even 1 coke. Facilities, changing rooms, showers, toilets and great beach bar cafe which is very reasonable.

The very best beaches are on the Famagusta side of Cyprus, in particular my very favourite Glapsides Belidiye beach.

London Cypriot,

I would add Long Beach at Long Beach Hotel to the list.

went to Vogue Beach Club, past Acapulco on the same road, yesterday and was very impressed. Nice clean beach. Not overcrowded. Big umbrellas by the pool. Jacuzzi. Attentive pool staff. Loads of showers and changing rooms.

Will definately go again

Famagusta I'd say, Koca Reis beach and Glapsides.
