Mountain View Hotel has villas, and the hotel is pet friendly. But there are dogs around... would your cats be indoors always?

No i live here in Cyprus, but have family coming over and as i don't have a pool we have decided to rent a villa but need somewhere that will take our cats as well as we have no one who can look after them.

If your cats get out at Mountain View be warned there is a dog there that will kill it no questions. Friends lived near by and when dog was loose they were frightened as to what would happen to their little friends.

Thanks for the warning, doesn't sound like the right place for us then.

the dogs are friendly. there are 3 cats at the hotel presently. you know how dogs behave... people get scared and try to run, the digs think you're playing with them and run after you. i've seen it happen a lot of times, but the dog's just trying to have fun. actually, the hotel has one dog, while the other 2 are dogs of neighbors. the hotel is actually very pet friendly. perhaps, you should come over and see for yourself... a visit will convince you

i dont know what cyprusishome is talking about "when dogs are loose" the place is very pet friendly and there's no need to keep the "dogs" under chains or anything... the dogs intermingle with the guests. actually, the dogs (the hotel's & the neighbor's) are so friendly that guests usually think they all belong to the hotel, lol. but we always try to differentiate the hotel's from the neighbors'. still... the guests play with them all. if you live around, you'd see one of our guest take them out for a walk at mornings and evenings :

What an awful thing to write. We have many customers coming back who shower our dog with gifts, leaving myself and the staff a bit jealous! It's hardly the thing to do for a "killer dog" now is it?!

As I've said before, you get one on every thread.

David Walters aka "Cyprusishome" seems to be another member of the extremely bored brigade.

Getting back on topic; we have a lovely ginger cat at home, and three in the hotel. Sazna, please give mum(Sue - Yes, thats Sue from the Mountain View!) a call, (009)0533 848 5115 and I'm sure she'd be more than happy to meet up with you and show you just how pet-friendly we are.

Kind regards,

Oz

Cats normally prefer their normal environment. Would it not be better to leave them at home and go and feed them daily?
