I bought one bedroom apartment in Caesar near famagusta and d like to ask about renting possibilitie, what is better long term or holiday rentals. For holiday rentals people usually charge more. Does anyone know about any services like cleaning the apartment when people leave?

If you can rent it out long term, I would go for this. You do make more per week renting it out for holiday lets but you have a lot of competition for these kind of lets. You will have to pay for laundry, cleaning, electric water etc as well as your 10% rental tax. The average weekly holiday lets is 14-15 weeks per year. A long term let can be for 2 years and the tenant pays all the utilities and all you pay for is the 10% rental tax plus any maintenance that's needed. The renters may even pay the council & property tax, plus site maintenance fees if you have it written in to the contract.
