I Have had a TRNC licence for 3 years, and now it is about to run out.

What is the procedure for renewal ?.

Do i have to fill out a new form, if so where can i get the form and is it still only in Turkish, do i have to go to Lefkosa, or can i go to Girne, again if i can where do i go.

You have to fill out a green form - got mine today - it is all in Turkish of course so you will need to have it translated or be very nice to the girl on the counter!!!

It looks like you have to provide your original license and two new passport photos along with the properly completed form and the fee (3 year license is 200.30TL. That is 200TL and 30Krs.

You can do it at the car tax office in Girne



If you get it done before Nov (when mine runs out) let me know how it went - I am just starting in on the same game.

car tax office...................directions...............take the road signed ' ezic peanuts ' before or after girne hospital(depending which direction you are coming from) then first right and first right again then into big car park on the right ( again!!) lol !

thru the front door and first office on the left
