A surveyor will probably note any poor workmanship or "should be able to recognise such" ...

If they do it the same way as in Germany then the surveyors add the value of the land + services + materials + local labour costs to come to a final price!

I believe there is a british surveyor somewhere in Kyrenia... however you may wish to visit:

If it's needed for a court case, the surveyor will have to be an "approved" one.

Advice for villa valuation?

May I suggest about half what you paid, as a general rule of thumb!

ha ha loved your comment Wynyardman.

Knew it would happen though, I have simply asked for a surveyor and everyone is guessing for what reason......I simply need to know it's market value, nothing more.

Now the interesting bit is why!!!!!

I may be missing the point here as you are obviously being cryptic , but I would imagine that the market value of your property is whatever anyone is willing to pay for it at the time you wish to sell !

To save you the 'professional' surveyor's fee - consider this:

Your property [same as all over Cyprus - North & South] is only worth as much as your prospective buyer is prepared to 'write the cheque for'!

You have to decide how much you are prepared to accept!
