hi all - Pegasus winter flights are now available. Just booked for November and March for £135 pp return. Obviously prices will rise - so book early!

Hi Chico,

I was looking at flights yesterday with Pegasus. Not flown with them before, what are they like? The prices are very (very) competitive and I will give them a try but I would like to know what the service is like. Thanks.

Hi kyrenia007

we have flown with them a couple of times. They are a budget airline - so no frills - they do have an on board 'cafe' which looking at their menu we weren't too sure about so we had a meal before boarding and bought sandwiches at the airport to take with us.

They were on time and the staff were friendly and helpful. Not a lot of leg room if you are tall - but if you are vertically challenged like me - not a problem! You can like all budget airlines pay extra for extra legroom.

Taken from http://www.transit-travel.com for Pegasus flights:

Seat selection costs £6 one way £12 return / Emergency exit seats £11 Single £22 Return plus an overall fee of £5

Can't remember seeing anything on the Pegasus website about seat selection - but wasn't really looking for it

This is all very nice if you live close to Stansted but for those who live a bit further north it is a bit of a trek.

Quite agree, Dusterbruce. You have to add on quite a bit if

coming down from Glasgow Int. Never seem to be any cheap

connecting flights when you want them.

Pegasus are a Turkish Airline and have been operating this route for over a year, as far as I can remember.

Like easyJet & Ryanair you have to be in quick to get cheapest tickets on any flight. As supply decreases, the price rises!!

Friends came with them couple of months ago and were very happy with them. Took own sarnies and drink rather then pay the high in flight costs for same.

For our family it is not a lot of good cos they all live in north east, so 4 hour drive then parking cosots to consider. Just hope that PGY see the benefits to all of a flight or 2 to the north.

just had a thought for the Scottish contingency this could be useful for those in the Dundee area - who could fly to Birmingham with Loganair.
