stopover at istanbul airport (pegasus flight)

Hi all. new to this board so this is my first request, I am going to kyrenia I hope on 5 Nov, 9 (return 16 Nov to Stanstead) I want to make my own way to Istanbul on 13 Nov for a few days and then pick up my return flight from Istanbul not kyrenia. Can I do this???? I spoke to a girl in TML however she didn know if passengers got on and off at Isranbul, or how to book it?? Hope someone can help??

You stay on the aircraft when you do the compulsory wait at IST but considering you have a return flight booked I wouldn't see a problem although I don't know who TML are, I would suggest contacting PGS direct.

hi hannah welcome to the forum , i think it is called open jaw to travel to one airport and out of another , yes you can do it , but usually the agent arranges it for you you tell them what your requirments are and they arrange it for you

If TML are a travel agent, dont use them any more. We're talking basics here. Your question was something that any junior agency clerk should have been able to answer.

I would be very surprised if you can do this having booked without going through the conditions of change at Pegasus. It maybe that they are rigid and treat as a cancellation. What ever you do do not turn up at Istanbul without speaking to them as I doubt you will get home. Even if it was an airline that you get off at Istanbul the fact that you did not get on for a leg would void the whole return.

Thanks to all those who replied . regarding Istanbul stopover, TML or Transit -Travel found them on Chico message 5/18 winter flights. Ispoke direct to Pefasus direct (see following info) for 2 people



Stanstead / istanbul 2/11/08 £110 ( 4 days Istanbul)

Istanbul/Ercan 6/11/08 £60.13

Ercan/Stanstead 14/11/08 £150



Total 2 people £320.13



Also given 25kg + hand luggage for internal flight



Well the price is good, hope the airline is as good

By the way what is the best way from S Gokcen into Istanbul???

Think that is a good deal hannah-antrim - might do it myself

I have had stop-offs before in Istanbul as have friends there

Only thing to make sure luggage goes with you as mine held

up flight when they removed it mistakenly on way back to Ldn.

hi hannah. check your departure times from IST. s.gokcen is the other side of the city. there is a shuttle bus ,have know idea about how cften or how long it takes. if you decide on taxi agree afare before you leave,ask 2/3 taxis before you decide.good luck.

Taksi from Sabiha G average fare is 30ytl to Taksim or to main bus depot Galata, shuttle bus efery 20 mins exept at night 1 hours
