Hi, I passed my test in April here. Be prepared, it's certainly nothing like driving lessons in the UK!! I passed my test because the examiner was my instructor's best friend!!! the price is around 1,500 tl and that includes 10 lessons, your test and your licence and you are basically guaranteed to pass, nobody fails whether you can drive or not!!! that's why there are so many bad drivers here. Anyway, I used Ozbek near the police station and the owner (Ozbek) speaks English.

Learn how to park on the pavement; smoke and talk on the mobile phone whilst driving one handed; ignore all pedestrians no matter where they are; traffic lights are a drivers nuisance to be ignored; drive in the middle of the road as instructed when eventually getting your paper licence which says 'tear along dotted line', and much more especially as you're a female which I'll leave to your imagination!

You are sure to pass, good luck!

Richard
