Flights from Manchester 2011

Any suggestions on cheap flights for summer 2011. Got to go in summer holidays next year.



Can fly from Manchester, Liverpool, East mid or Birmingham.



Have looked at Atlas Jet and Turkish airlines, all comming in at about £400 per person!!!!!!!



Thomas Cook to Larnaca is comming in cheapest at £275 each at the moment but I would prefer to fly to Ercan, just not thoses prices.



Had heard that Cyprus Turkish maybe starting up again. Anybody know about that as they were always the cheapest from Manchester? And would it be worth the risk of booking with them again?

Never use anyone but Monarch, fly to Larnaca spend an hour in a taxi across the border and its cjeaper than Ercan

Just booked Monarch Manchester to Larnaca May 2011 £724.00 for four people.That includes all the add ons,

Fair point Shayne,but alot of people still assume that when you fly to Larnaca you are going on holiday to Southern Cyprus.Its down to the advertising bods to publicise more,

10th May for 16 nights £350 for 2 all in. No other airline came close to Monarch

Monarch is comming in at about £1200 for 4 at the end of July. Not a bad price but still double what we used to pay with Cyprus Turkish to Ercan in their sale.

Cyprus Turkish used to charge us about £750 for 4 during school holidays and alot less for the rest of the time. We were able to come and go several times a year.



It might not seem alot to some but at those prices, we can only come out once or twice a year.

July is one of the most expensive times to fly so whilst prices might seem expensive at the moment, I am afraid that they will only get more expensive as the year goes on. Book now to avoid disappointment

Prices are at least twice those of flying into Larnaca.

I must agree with newlad here. The flights into Larnaca are great. No having to change planes and mess about wondering if the flights will actually go. My family from Hull flew here yesterday from Manchester, flight arrived right on time, no more Ercan for me sad to say. I wont forget going home in June this year with CTA and all the problems that ensued in a hurry!



Mind you must just mention that Pegasus do a flight from Manchester into Ercan. Well they did this year only on a Sunday, last flight this year was 26th September. So when the flight times come out it may be worth checking out.



Also sometimes it works out cheaper to fly in with Thomas Cook and out again with Monarch.

Yes its late July we need this time. So school holiday prices. Somebody has posted on another thread about Atlas Jet and Turkish Airlines bidding for Cyprus Turkish so may wait a couple of weeks before we book. Otherwise it looks like just 2 visits a year from now on.

dont compare CTA with reaility the reason CTA went down was because of the flights being so cheap

and anyway when they were that cheap you all still moaned about this that or the other



welcome to the real world and real prices now typical you killed the the hen that laid the golden eggs
